Arusha is the ideal starting point for safari lovers, within reach of Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, and Serengeti. The city even has its own natural attraction, Arusha National Park named after Wa-Arusha inhabitants of the town. Full of agricultural activities, administrative and tourist center. It is the perfect place to relax before and after a long voyage of a lifetime.

Our journey start in a village nestles on the slopes of Mount Meru, where we are welcomed as friends of Wild Drama Tanzania Safari.  You immediately experience the extraordinary warmth and kindness of the Tanzanian people.  Eighty percent of Tanzanians live as subsistent agriculturists and this day gives you an introduction to their rural lives and daily rhythms.  We return to our lodge late in the afternoon.  But you will as well visit the orphanage children’s center.

At Tarangire National Park, you find a geologic landscape as diverse as the wildlife with nine distinct vegetation zones ranging from savanna grassland to wooded thickets and from deep gully vegetation to sparse rocky hilltops. Dotted with ancient baobab trees, the Tarangire river valley attracts abundant wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, antelope, and giraffes as well as an array of vibrantly colored birds.  Enjoy the stunning scenery from your private veranda in a secluded and luxurious safari lodge.

An excitement of spending time on a walking safari in Tarangire which is up close and personal, after the walking safari you drive to the lodge for relaxation. Tarangire is a fantastic location to put down the comfort of your safari vehicle and enjoy the scenery on foot. This walking safari is accompanied by Park Ranger and an expert driver guide for safety. You will be surprised at how much more you can learn from a couple of hours walking in the bush, unfamiliar sounds and smells meeting you throughout your journey. Find out about animal tracks and dung, learn what to do if you get too close to a grazing elephant, and discover who lives in those emblematic, strange-shaped termite mounds. Being this close to nature maybe a whole new experience for you but the memories will stay with you forever!

Distance from Tarangire to Ngorongoro highlands-80kms-about 2hours drive.

After breakfast, we head into the Ngorongoro Highlands. entering these lush foothills as temperatures become cooler and the landscape becomes greener. Enjoy plenty of interesting game viewing along the way. Arrive at beautiful Gibbs Farm, an organic farm and working coffee plantation, you will arrive for lunch. This afternoon we can stroll through gorgeous gardens, try to spot some of the over 200 hundred birds on the property or enjoy afternoon tea by a sea of lilies and bougainvillea garden.

Picnic lunch served at the park, and then we set off again searching for wildlife in this inspiring Serengeti national park. Serengeti’s wonders develop finely as the day progresses. The countless birds and animals are the celebrity of the show and nature dramas can unfold at any time. Wildlife animals don’t exertion to any schedule, you may find leopard and lion, zebras and elephant, antelope, and cheetahs at any time on your game drives. Evening you will return to the camp for dinner and some much need rest and recreation.
