Arusha is the ideal starting point for safari lovers, within reach of Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, and Serengeti. The city even has its own natural attraction, Arusha National Park named after Wa-Arusha inhabitants of the town. Full of agricultural activities, administrative and tourist center. It is the perfect place to relax before and after a long voyage of a lifetime.

Enjoy Tarangire national park doing game drives in this huge park with its incredible diversity massive baobab trees, big herds of elephants and its rolling savannah and acacia woodland.

As you stand at the park gate and look south, it stretches as far as the eyes can see.  The park is also home to Buffalo, Lion, Zebras, Wildebeest, gazelle and can rival Serengeti for total animal densities.   Talk to your guide to find you an Agama lizard especially a male one who changes color in front of you according to the temperature!

You might see a solitary male lion stretched out beneath a tree, a male cheetah enjoying some lazy bonding time in the sun. Perhaps lovely Grant’s gazelle and zebra bounding away from the road or a couple of giraffe grinding happily from acacia branches, look out for kudu and oryx.

After time spent there in the park, we continue to the selected picnic sites where we will eat our picnic lunch which is a nutritious and balanced meal.

Our afternoon journey we continue with game drives in the park till evening, drive to the camp where we will eat dinner which is a full-cooked meal, and spend the night.

Enjoy Lake Manyara doing game drives in wonderful Lake Manyara with the rift valley escarpment and the lake itself as the wonderful natural backdrops.
Just past the gate, you will come across a wonderful green forest, home to a large group of baboons, visit the hippo pool and hold your nose when we reach because these big lumps smell. Hippos spend their day lying in the water and enjoy listening to the nice grumbling sounds of those amazing animals.
Lunch will be a picnic nutritious and balanced meal served at the selected picnic site.  Enjoy the tranquility as majestic pink flamingos, picking out a meal of algae from the shallow alkaline waters. While on land Manyara terrain is compact yet boasts differing environments such as diverse forest fed by waters seeping from the nearby escarpment.  Monkeys are abundant but look out too for the tree-climbing lions, warthog, Cape buffalo, and giraffe who all call this park home.

On the afternoon journey we continue to Mto wa Mbu village (optional activities), walk and cultural tour, visit the orphanage and meet children at the orphanage center. You will as well visit local brewing and local markets.  You will have a chance to practice how to make Maasai jewelry. Evening drive to the camp where we will eat the dinner-full cooked meal and spend the night.

What to see: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Giraffe, Buffalo, Hippos, Thomson Gazelles, Wildebeest, Impalla, different types of birds, Serengeti savanna and Acacia trees.

Breakfast served at the Camp, then drive up to Ngorongoro crater highlands-conservation area, brief stopping at the rim of the crater for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater, short time spent here, then as you continuing as far as the eye can see is the massive open plains of Serengeti.  Serengeti means “endless plain” and this 6900 sq. mile-18000 sq. km park is inhabited by more than 2 million wildebeest. Depending on the time of your visit, you may pass Ndutu area for a game drive before proceeding to Serengeti.  January to April is the season where wildebeests give birth to their calves and also hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson’s gazelle gathers. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park.   Smaller animals like mongoose, honey badgers, bat-eared foxes, rock hyrax, Monkey, Baboons, African hares, and jackals have also inhabited the area along with nearly 400 species of birds. After game drives, you will be heading to the Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

What to see: Leopard-cheetah-Elephant-Thomson gazelle-Eland.  Depending time of your visit, you may also witness wildebeest migration.

Today you will wake up very early in the morning have a cup of coffee or tea then enjoy a sunrise game drive which is the most beautiful experience in Serengeti one can encounter in the African Savanna land. The sights, sounds and smells of Africa are all around you.  Continue with a game drive in the Serengeti-seronera area.  Later at noon you will return back to the campsite for a Brunch-breakfast and lunch together.  There after you will continue with game en route heading to Ngorongoro conservation area arriving in the evening.

Eat the dinner-full cooked meal and relaxation.

Today you will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. You will then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebras and gazelles.   The crater also has the densest known population of lions and it’s the place you can find the black-maned lion.

In reality the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It has several swamps, a river and soda lake which from the top looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. The large elephants that reside here have tremendously large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.  You will have game drive in the crater followed by packed lunch which will be served near the hippo pool, enjoying them closely.  Thereafter you will ascend to the rim and drive to to Arusha arriving in the evening. drop off at the Airport for onward flight to zanzibar or back home.
